About Twi Kasa
Description
Twi Kasa is intended for Akan language learners yearning for a systematic approach to language acquisition. As lingua franca of Ghana—a historic and commercial center of West Africa—Twi is an important entry vernacular into the region.
While traditional textbooks cater exclusively to native speakers, Twi Kasa adopts a universal method common to modern-language learning, beginning with the building blocks of a sentence: subjects and verbs. It then elucidates Akan negation, verb tenses, pronouns, nouns, adjectives, and adverbs. Twi Kasa also promotes grammatical proficiency, understanding of Akan culture, and immersion into Ghanaian society.
